Outside Las Vegas Attractions, Tourist Things To Do & What To See, NV

It is impossible to visit Las Vegas and not explore the Grand Canyon Skywalk. This iconic bridge platform provides one of the most stunning viewpoints for anyone who wants to appreciate the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. The horseshoe-shaped glass walkway is 10 feet wide and stretches 70 feet downwards, allowing visitors to enjoy breathtaking views of the Canyon in a safe setting.

Add to this experience with an unforgettable dining experience at the Grand Canyon. The sweeping views in the distance provide a perfect background for indulging in the Asian and Southwest cuisine. Sample the Hualapai tribal dishes to treat your palate to unique flavors you can only find close to the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

Explore Lee Canyon, which is a popular attraction loved for its excellent camping grounds and an array of recreational activities. Plan your stay at the Lee Canyon Mountain Resort, which is a nature lover’s dream come true. With 20 nature trails and more than 250 acres of the countryside, there is ample space to explore the outdoors.

Learn more about Nevada’s railroad system when you visit the Nevada Southern Railway Museum. Most visitors are amazed to learn that the railway system was used to transport material required for the construction of the Hoover Dam.

Additionally, visitors have the chance to enjoy a ride on a full-sized train. With its open coaches and excellent views, this ride is a memorable highlight oat the museum. Listen in to audio recordings and learn from the volunteers who provide insightful information during the tour.

Away from the trains, you can also visit Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and the Death Valley National Park. Away from the city’s endless neon lights, these parks are an idyllic destination to retreat to for hiking, birdwatching, and photography.

Other attractions outside Vegas include the Eldorado Canyon Mine, Area 51, and the Colorado River, among many others.
