Some of the most famous concert residencies at the Colosseum have included Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Cher, Shania Twain, and Elton John, among others. It is interesting to note that one of the longest-running residencies is that of Celine Dion with more than a thousand shows to her name.

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is also home to many performance shows. In the past, these shows have featured artists such as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Romina Arena, and Gloria Estefan.

Part of the reason why the Colosseum is a unique choice of location is attributed to its state-of-the-art -design and technical advancements. Just as the name suggests, the theatre’s design was inspired by that of the old Colosseum in Rome. The stage boasts a proscenium arch whose size makes it among the biggest stage openings across the world.

The stage, on the other hand, features ten stage lifts that take up a large part of the stage, and add to its excellent performances. The giant screen located at the theatre is the largest of its kind in the state, and it is loved for its unique 3D stage display. Other technical aspects that make the theatre the go-to venue include the acoustic panels for better sound and more than 120 speakers.

The Colosseum also stands out for its intimate setting that makes for great show productions. The furthest seat is located approximately 40 meters from the stage, allowing for an extraordinary show for all. The venue has a capacity of 4,300 people and is designed to accommodate just about every kind of stage show.

A visit to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace also allows visitors the chance to explore world-class cuisine at any of the restaurants, enjoy spa services at Qua Baths, as well as unwind at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis.
