Las Vegas Museums

Museums in Las Vegas provide visitors with the unique opportunity to see the city in a different light, away from all the glitz and grandeur.

These museums are part and parcel of the city and provide a glimpse into the rich heritage of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Museums, Attractions, Exhibits, Location List & Entry Passes

The Mob Museum is one of the attractions that should be on your bucket list for Las Vegas, and for a good reason. Las Vegas thrived on organized crime in the past, and it is in this museum that the city honors its remarkable history.

The museum dives into the relationship between the crime groups and the law enforcers by displaying an array of artifacts. Visitors immerse themselves in all the action by wiretapping, participating in an actual courtroom, and even sitting on an electric chair!

The Neon Museum is another must-visit attraction in Las Vegas. In the past, old business signs were discarded following the collapse of the businesses or hotels, something that would eventually lead to the death of this culture. Neon Museum was built to house these signs and preserve neon signage. Take a guided tour, preferably at night when the neon-lit signs come alive and learn more about the city’s most iconic signs.

Learn more about the history of burlesque when you visit the Burlesque Hall of Fame. From its early years at its onset to the mid-20th century through to the present, this museum shines a spotlight on the sultry art of seduction. There are different exhibits that tell this story, alongside thousands of museum artifacts for visitors to marvel at.

Visit the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art to enjoy some of the greatest works of art from around the world. The gallery, which is located at the luxurious Bellagio Hotel, takes pride in being the place where ‘great art goes on vacation.’ This is a must-visit for art lovers in the city.

It is impossible to talk about Vegas Museums without mentioning the Erotic Heritage Museum. This museum showcases the history of sexuality from an educational point of view, in addition to the different performance spaces and shop on location.

Other museums worth visiting in Las Vegas include the Liberace Museum, Wayne Newton’s Casa De Shenandoah, as well as Springs Preserve.
