The Mob Museum, officially known as the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is an intriguing history museum located in Downtown Las Vegas.

The museum, which first opened its doors to the public in 2012, provides a daring and authentic look at the world of organized crime.

In light of this, the museum is home to artifacts that tell the history of this type of crime, both in the US, as well as in other parts of the world. Interestingly, the museum also highlights the relationship between the crime and efforts made by law enforcers, particularly within Nevada and the rest of the United States of America.

This idea came from the suggestion by the federal government to restore the federal courthouse, upon which the then-mayor, Oscar Goodman, suggested the idea of a mob museum. Goodman, a former Mob Defense Attorney himself, would have his idea opposed in the early years, but had the support of the FBI.

The museum was finally opened to the public and has since attracted high numbers of visitors. Standard tickets gain you basic admission and full access to the museum. For the enhanced museum experiences, there is the all-access pass. Tickets may be purchased online below, with discounted rates available for groups.

There are many exhibits to choose from, where you will have a chance to learn more about the underground world of crime. At the heart of the museum is the second-floor courtroom.

This is a significant part of the museum because it marks the location where a hearing was held in a bid to discuss organized crime back in the 50s. In addition to this, there is also a blood-sputtered wall that the museum acquired to mark the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre of 1929, as crime gangs sought to take control of the city.

In addition to the exhibits at the Mob Museum, there is also the Speakeasy bar, VIP room, a Distillery, gift shop and much, much more.
