The museum’s history can be traced back to when Zak was just ten years old and developed a keen interest in the spirit world. What began as an adventure looking for quirky collectibles evolved into a search for answers to the after-life. His was a quest to not just understand the energy on earth but to use techniques to communicate with those whose souls have long departed.

Presently, Zak is a leading personality in the paranormal sector, and it is this experience that he uses to usher visitors into the spirit world at the museum. The property where the museum is located was initially owned by a businessman, but in the years that followed, it was haunted by spirits who roamed its rooms. In fact, it is thought that dark rituals were carried out at the property in the 70s. Perhaps it is these restless spirits that give the Haunted Museum a sense of adventure.

A tour of the museum typically begins with walking down the eerie hallways and exploring the secret tunnels that lead to more than two dozen rooms. The rooms and passages are so spooky that they appear to be lifted straight off the set of a horror movie.

The museum is also home to the Dybbuk Box, which is believed to be the most haunted item in the world. Look out for the antique wine cabinet at the museum, which, if you are keen, may realize was the inspiration behind the supernatural horror film, The Possession.

Other thrilling attractions to look out for at the museum include the VW death van in which a doctor ended the lives of his terminally ill patients, the original stairway from Demon House, as well as the Propofol Chair that was obtained from the room in which Michael Jackson died.

If you are up for a chilling adventure, visit Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum; located at 600 East Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas.
