Zappos Theater, previously known as The AXIS Theater and the Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts, is a popular venue located at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.

The theatre frequently hosts popular concerts, awards shows, beauty pageants as well as charity shows.

The theater’s history dates back to the early 70s when the owners of the then-Aladdin Hotel decided to convert the golf course onsite to a performing arts center. The center first opened its doors in 1976, and it quickly grew to be the go-to venue for rock and roll shows. The Aladdin Theater for Performing Arts then changed names to The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, before finally changing to the Zappos Theater as it is presently known.

Over the years, the theatre is best known for hosting the Miss Universe, Miss America, and Miss USA beauty pageants. It has also been home to headlining concert residencies for some of the biggest music pop stars across America. These residencies include the Backstreet Boys: Larger than Life, Justin Timberlake, and Friends, Britney: Piece of Me, as well as the recently-concluded Jennifer Lopez: All I Have.

The 7,000-seat capacity theatre attracts concert-goers from far and wide. With its state-of-the-art acoustics, unobstructed views, and one of the grandest arch openings in the city, it is easy to see why the Zappos Theater is a must-visit while in Las Vegas.

Tickets are available online and at the theatre box office. The box office is open daily from 10am, and interested guests may also get group rates for ten or more people.

The theatre also boasts exclusive VIP tables for the ultimate concert experience. Food and beverage options are also available at the resort’s award-winning restaurants – from Japanese treats to premium steak and even burgers by renowned celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay.

Zappos Theater is easily accessible and is located off the main casino floor at the resort.
