Participants are taken through a brief training session that includes an introduction and instructions to get a handle on the adventure ahead. At the onset, many find the entire thought of standing upright and soaring simultaneously quite difficult, but the instructors are at hand to assure that if you can stand up, you can certainly flyboard.

So simple is this adventure that prior experience is not a prerequisite to getting up in the air. For those who have had the opportunity to surf or snowboard before, the learning experience is certainly quicker. After the brief training, participants are required to wear special boots that are attached to the board, which is then connected to a jetski.

The use of high power water pressure is what powers the flight so you can be your very own superhero. The futuristic components of the flyboarding adventure add to the exhilaration of the experience.

At Flyboard Las Vegas, the experience takes half an hour. For participants looking for an adrenaline rush, there is the option of combining flyboarding with paddleboarding in a two-hour package. Note that participants must be at least ten years of age and over 90 pounds to sign up for this experience. Additionally, participants must know how to swim as the adventure does culminate in the waters below.
