Crystal is a small community located in Nevada’s Nye County, some 80 miles away from Las Vegas.

With just a few brothels, bars, and an offbeat Brothel Art Museum, visitors to Crystal can take in all the sights (and women) in a few days. Drinking and women are perhaps the town’s best attractions.

If you’re keen on exploring some underrated gems nearby, you’re in luck because there’s quite a few. One is the Amargosa Valley, which is a charming hamlet situated on the southern end of the border to California. Flanked by majestic mountains, Amargosa Valley is 88 miles away from Las Vegas and filled with spectacular outdoor attractions.

Pahrump is another destination you can visit on your way out of Crystal. Located in Nye County’s southernmost tip, it was once home to American settlers in the late 19^th century. Here, they cultivated alfalfa and cotton while engaging in agriculture. It is still a laid-back town that provides a sharp contrast to the modern lines and dazzling lights of Las Vegas.
