Bearizona Wildlife Park

The Bearizona Wildlife Park is a 160-acre drive-through wildlife park that gives visitors a unique chance to view some of North America’s native animals in their natural habitats.

Tucked away in Williams, northern Arizona, the park is the perfect place to experience the region’s scenic sights and indulge in its numerous activities.

On arrival at the park, visitors are treated to a handful of different options, which include ‘Spin It,’ ‘Soar Through,’ and ‘Stroll It.’ Spin It allows visitors to drive through the desert landscape and get up close with the different animal species. This exciting adventure unfolds right from the safety and comfort of your car. Note, however, that vehicles must be fully enclosed with functional windows.

The Soar Through option is a spectacular show that features the park’s birds of prey. The shows not only allow visitors to get up-close with the birds, but they are also an opportunity to learn more about the natural history and conservation of the birds. The show is also inclusive of ‘on the fist’ demonstrations complete with narration for better understanding. Some of the birds that one can expect to see include falcons, owls, and hawks.

The Stroll It through option involves taking a self-guided tour in the park. In this section of the park, visitors enjoy walking along the walkways with excellent opportunities to see the smaller animals in their natural habitat. Signage is available to provide more information about the animals. This unique exhibition also has a bears den where visitors can marvel at bears from behind the viewing glass.

Bearizona Wildlife Park also offers a guided bus tour for visitors who may not be comfortable driving the loop. This free tour is included in the admission fee and is an excellent way to see the animals.

Nothing beats dining at Bearizona after exploring the park. Canyonlands Restaurant is a themed restaurant whose steep walls and ancient ruins allow guests to wine and dine in true Southwest style. An array of lunches, gluten-free options, and vegetarian meals are available.
