The park boasts a network of trails that span more than 20 miles, providing ample space for outdoor activities. Whether you’d love to go hiking or prefer the thrill of mountain biking, there is plenty of reasons to explore this park. Despite the park’s name, it is actually a great place to enjoy horse-riding.

The Verde River flows through the park, allowing for dozens of water activities for visitors to enjoy. Some of the popular activities here include kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing.
