Las Vegas Area – Las Vegas Strip

The world-famous Las Vegas Strip is at the heart of most of the city’s attractions, providing easy access to its best sights and sounds. The eight-mile stretch of awesomeness is a sensory experience like no other.

The best place to start is the ‘Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas,’ which is the undisputed welcome mat to the city.

This neon-lit sign has welcomed visitors since 1959 and is one of the most popular places to take photographs. It is fascinating to learn that the sign is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, so make time to enjoy a photo session at the sign.

Visit The Park, which an intriguing urban oasis located between New York-New York and Park MGM hotels. The park stretches from the T-Mobile Arena to the Las Vegas Boulevard, and it is home to open-air eateries and what is, without a doubt, its most popular installation – the Bliss Dance. This 40-foot tall statue of a dancing woman communicates resilience and vulnerability all rolled in one and is a powerful place to reflect.

One of the most iconic attractions on The Strip is the Bellagio Fountains, which is fondly referred to as water that dances. These popular fountains are a must-see on the Strip. With more than 1,000 fountains shooting water into the air against the background of synchronized music, it is easy to see why the fountain shows attract visitors in their numbers.

A tour of the Strip would be incomplete without exploring the LINQ Promenade. The outstanding open-air attraction is home to the tallest observation wheel in the world – the High Roller. This observation wheel provides panoramic views of the city below, with great vantage points for photography.

Walk back in time to explore ancient Italy at the Venetian. Love ballads rent the air as lovers glide by in the gondolas, which is a unique experience in the heart of Las Vegas. Alternatively, enjoy people watching close to the piazza cafes that dot the Venetian.

Other attractions on The Strip include Adventuredome for families and thrill-seekers, the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod.

Wind up with the Fremont Street Experience for a vivid experience of the city’s sights and sounds.
