The ride commences at the VooDoo Lounge located at the top of Rio’s Masquerade Tower. The moment the ride begins, visitors are sent down at terrific speeds of 33 miles an hour to the iconic Ipanema tower.
The VooDoo Zip Line can take two riders at a go, and also boasts a unique feature that allows visitors on a return ticket to ride backwards from the Ipanema tower. This additional 800 feet makes the experience worthwhile and is perfect for thrill-seekers.
Once purchased, tickets are valid for up to six months from the date of purchase without the need to make any bookings. The Rio Zipline is open all week, between 3pm and 11pm from Mondays to Thursdays and from 11am to 12am on Fridays to Sundays. The weekends are popular, and by closing at midnight, the zipline gives visitors a chance to see Las Vegas come alive at night.
It is important to note that visitors must have a valid ID and sign a waiver before the ride. Additionally, all loose items must be removed before going to the launching point. This included GoPro and other handheld cameras.
Height and weight limits for the riders are a total combined weight of 450lbs and are each at least 48″ tall – with a wild sense of adventure not hurting either.
